Coho is the second largest of wild Alaskan salmon species. Running at the end of the Alaskan salmon fishing season, coho is popular autumnal option to the summer sockeye. A lot of seafood restaurants in the Pacific Northwest put coho on their menus because of its mild taste, appealing size and beautiful silver skin color. Our coho comes from the Copper River fishing district which is famous for top quality salmon, a great sustainability program and careful fish handling.
 
The 5-pound box contains ~8-10 flash-frozen, vacuum packed portions. Custom, hand-fileted wild portions vary by size and range from 8-10 ounces on average. These are larger size portions.
